Law Office Closing December 31, 2009

Dear Friends, Family and Former & Prospective Clients:

I have greatly enjoyed the support my office has received and the opportunity to meet and provide services to many of you. When opening my practice, I could never have anticipated the positive response from the community or the growth that we have experienced. The Barlow area has proven to be an ideal environment to build and sustain a viable law practice.

As many of you may know, much of my practice is focused in the oil and gas field of law. This has exposed me and my practice to many oil and gas companies throughout Ohio and West Virginia. Recently, I was offered an in-house counsel position with Artex Oil Company of Marietta, Ohio. After many grueling months of consideration and countless sleepless nights, I accepted this position. Regrettably, this will require the closing of my private practice.

While this was undoubtedly one of the most difficult decisions I have faced, we believe this will be the best for our family. I cannot explain the gratitude I have for every person who has contacted my office over the past three years and regret that I will no longer be servicing this great community through my private practice.

I will no longer be accepting new clients and anticipate that my full-time private practice will close December 31, 2009. I will, however, maintain my office on a part-time basis beginning January 1, 2010 until my current cases are concluded. I will maintain my office mailing address and telephone numbers for a period of one year, ending December 31, 2010.

During the past three years, I have had an opportunity to meet many of the attorneys in the Mid-Ohio Valley, and will be more than willing to provide referrals to anyone seeking legal counsel or representation.
